Kuwait and Djibouti join international patent system
In September, Kuwait and Djibouti will be the 149th and 150th contracting states to the international Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT).
The PCT, which is administered by the UN agency the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), makes it possible to submit just one single patent application that will subsequently protect an innovation in many different countries.
