The Awapatent Foundation for the Promotion of Scientific Research in the area of Intellectual Property Rights works to support research at a number of different levels. Each year we allocate a sum of money in the form of grants and awards to researchers, doctoral students and other students at universities and university colleges. First and foremost, the grants are intended to fund the publication of scientific studies within the field of intellectual property rights.
Final date for applications: 31 October each year

Don’t forget to include:
- Details of the purpose for which the grant is being sought.
- A brief description of the work that the applicant/nominee is currently involved with in the field of intellectual property rights.
- Details of the size of the grant being sought.
