Anders has worked in the IPR field since 2007. His practice includes assessing patentability of new technology, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as patent oppositions and investigations as to infringement and validity of granted patents.
His areas of technical expertise include electronics, semiconductor physics, signal processing, digital media coding and distribution, automatic control theory, information technology, access control systems, wireless and wired communication systems. His Ph.D. thesis relates to the mathematical aspects of quantum physical systems.
Anders takes an active part in maintaining and extending Awapatent’s Asian partner firm network. He is a member of two of Awapatent’s specialist teams, one dealing with patent protection for software inventions and one focused on litigation.
Anders deepened his knowledge in European Software patent practice during his internship in the European Patent Office in 2012. He then worked with a Technical Board of Appeal responsible for cases in class G06 (Computing; Calculating; Counting).Authorizations
