Prior to joining Awapatent in 2007, Mattias worked as a postdoctoral researcher doing research projects dealing with different aspects of atomic and molecular processes taking place on metal surfaces, mainly using computerized modeling, first at Chalmers, Göteborg, Sweden, and then at the Surface Science Research Centre, University of Liverpool, Liverpool, United Kingdom.Languages

Mattias works with clients particularly in the fields of home and professional lighting, power and automation, telecommunication, surveying, optics and information and communication technology. Apart from providing general counseling regarding business aspects of intellectual property, he drafts and prosecutes patent applications worldwide, and also conducts patentability, freedom-to-operate and infringement analyses.
