Prior experience
Prior to joining Awapatent in 2004, Ted worked as an attorney at law with the Swedish law firm Vinge where he adviced on insolvency law and general commercial law. Ted has previously also worked as a law clerk at Alingsås District Court.

Specialist areas
Ted works with local as well as international clients and his practice includes all aspects of Intellectual Property law as well as marketing law. Ted is involved in disputes and litigation concerning infringement in and defence of IP rights in and out of courts. He has experience in negotiating, drafting and concluding agreements relating to all fields of IP. His daily work also involves trademark prosecution, from the first steps clearing name suggestions, through drafting and filing of applications to handling of appeals and oppositions, also in higher instances.

Ted also manages some major clients’ trademark portfolios and work as their counsel on all matters related to their IP and unfair competition.

Together with a number of colleagues, Ted has a special assignment to develop Awapatent’s relationship with IP-firms and industry in China.
